B-Source: from data center hosting to full BPO provider in 16 years

1995

B-Source starts up under the name Boss Lab SA as a spin-off of the IT department of Banca della Svizzera Italiana (BSI) and within a few years evolves to become a data center and ITO service provider.
 

2000

Generali (Switzerland) Holding transfers its data center services to Boss Lab.
 

2001

Boss Lab acquires Von Graffenried Global Service Provider AG and becomes an ITO and business service provider to several banks.
 

2005

Banca del Gottardo and BSI outsource IT and BOA to Boss Lab.
Banca del Gottardo acquires 37% of the share capital.
Boss Lab is renamed B-Source.
 

2007

BSI acquires Banca del Gottardo and becomes the sole shareholder of B-Source.
 

2008

B-Source kicks off collaboration with Avaloq.
B-Source begins to develop the B-Source Master and merges business applications, IT infrastructure, and BOA of Banca del Gottardo and BSI.
 

2009

B-Source acquires Fin’Log and Outline to fortify its BPO services. The B-Source Master is finalized as a nucleus for client solutions.
 

2010

The B-Source Master goes live at NBAD Private Bank (Suisse) SA, NZB Neue Zürcher Bank, and QNB Banque Privée (Suisse) SA.
Generali extends collaboration with B-Source until 2014.
Markus Gröninger is appointed CEO of B-Source and presents Vision 2015.
 

2011

Market growth is positive, international expansion moves forward. The B-Source Master is chosen as a success recipe by Swiss and foreign banks.
B-Source employs more than 600 people.
B-Source moves to its new headquarters in Bioggio.
