A bit about the role

Your team

The Tax EU team is a dynamic team of Business Analysts and Software Developers. We are working closely together in an agile way interacting with many people across the business as well as with our clients to develop new product features and maintain existing ones in live use.

The team takes care of both transactional handling of taxes as well as reporting duties towards clients and/or tax authorities in the following areas: German Taxes, Withholding Taxes, US QI and FATCA Reporting, Automatic Exchange of Information (CRS), Generic Tax Statements for offshore clients (including capital gain calculation) and other highly flexible Tax Reporting Tools used by our clients.

As a member of our team, you will discover and implement efficient solutions that cater to our clients' requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with all pertinent tax regulations.


What will you do?

  • Reading, analyzing and processing of Bundesministerium der Finanzen (BMF) and other newsletters
  • Requirement analysis and creation of specifications together with software developers, partners and customers
  • Supporting developers during implementation
  • Acting as the contact person concerning functional questions
  • Maintaining product documentation in collaboration with our technical writers
  • Supporting consulting projects, project implementations and sales workshops
  • Follow and understand the end-to-end solution, including the know-how on banking and backend solution

A bit about you

What you need

  • Knowledge of German and International tax regulations and guidelines
  • University or college degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent professional education
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend, summarize, and specify banking processes and requirements

  • Avaloq ACP certified professional
  • Previous experience within the banking environment
  • Avaloq solutions know-how
  • Experience in software development
